The short version: there are no accounts, no forms, and nothing to sign up for. We do not want your information and have not built anywhere to put it.
This site has no contact forms, no newsletter signup, no accounts, and no lead capture of any kind. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, case details, or income. The fee waiver page tells you about income thresholds; it does not ask you what your income is.
This is deliberate. A site that routes people who are about to file a court case to third parties is a lead-generation business with a different set of obligations. We are a reference, and we intend to stay one.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and which counties people look for, so we know where to spend collection effort. It records things like approximate location, device type, referring site, and pages viewed. It does not tell us who you are.
Advertising. Where the site displays ads, the ad provider and its partners may set cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads. Those partners are the controllers of that data, not us.
Server logs. The web server records standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies here come from analytics and, where present, advertising partners. Nothing on this site requires a cookie to function — the pages are static and the calculators run entirely in your browser without storing anything. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will work normally.
Where the law requires a consent banner (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK), the ad provider's consent tool handles it, and your choices there govern what those partners may do.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We link out constantly — to clerks, sheriffs, courts, and statutes — so you can check our work. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we do not control them.
